A search is currently underway in New York City for an illegal immigrant teenager who shot a woman in Times Square and subsequently fired at police officers.

The individual responsible for the shooting targeted a woman inside a clothing store located in Times Square. Law enforcement officials have identified the shooter as a migrant who entered the country illegally and is currently evading capture. The gunman has been identified as Jose Alejandro Rivas Figueroa, a 15-year-old Venezuelan national who crossed the open Southern Border from Mexico to enter the United States unlawfully.

Figueroa had been residing in a temporary shelter funded by the taxpayers of New York City, as revealed by NYPD Chief of Patrol John Chell. The shooter targeted a 37-year-old Brazilian tourist and was part of a group of three male illegal immigrants.

During a press conference, the police stated that this group of teenage criminals is suspected of engaging in shoplifting at JD Sports on West 42nd Street and Broadway at approximately 7:05 p.m. A female security guard confronted the group and successfully retrieved the stolen items from them.

Following this confrontation, chaos ensued within the gun-free zone of Manhattan. The shooter, accompanied by a male accomplice described as a 15-year-old Hispanic male wearing a blue jacket, fled the store. They were observed running towards 47th Avenue, according to Chief Chell.

Subsequently, two police officers who were patrolling the area pursued the suspects, managing to apprehend the individual in the blue jacket. However, this suspect was promptly released without any charges being filed against him.

Nearly two weeks after a group of migrants assaulted two NYPD officers in Times Square, a shooting incident occurred. While several suspects in the assault have been indicted, only one is currently in custody. According to Slay News, authorities suspect that criminal gangs are crossing the border with the aim of engaging in crime sprees in the United States, funded by American taxpayers. These gangs travel to the U.S. to commit crimes and then send their illicit gains back to their home countries.

In order to finance their extravagant lifestyles, illegal aliens are stealing Americans’ financial information and using it to make substantial purchases. A police source informed the New York Post that these individuals frequently steal phones and exploit the Apple Pay and credit card details to buy cars, pools, and other luxurious items in their native lands. Upon returning home, they can enjoy the rewards of their criminal activities without facing any consequences from the American justice system.

“They’re buying cars back in Ecuador and Venezuela,” the police source told the Post.

“They’re putting pools in their homes there.

“All this money is going back and forth.

“That’s why the larcenies are going out of control.

“It’s unbelievable what they’re doing.”
