(The Post Millennial) – Conservative commentator Dinesh D’Souza discussed the Biden family’s history of corrupt dealings on the Dinesh D’Souza Podcast, delving into a recent Business Insider exclusive on the president’s controversial son, Hunter Biden.

“Do we really need to hear more about Hunter Biden?” asked D’Souza rhetorically. “Yes, we do,” he answered.

“You know why? Because his dealings reveal the depth of corruption of the Biden family, specifically Joe Biden’s son,” D’Souza went on.

D’Souza said President Joe Biden established a “long career on one corrupt deal on top of another,” posing a question to his audience: “What makes us believe he has stopped now?”

D’Souza read the internal emails sent from a significant Democrat donor to a Saudi business tycoon concerning Libya.

“Let’s remember the Obama administration launched a strike on Libya that resulted in the death of Gaddafi. After Gaddafi went down, many countries froze Libyan assets. Now Libya is an oil-rich country, so these assets were considerable, totalling $15 billion,” said D’Souza.

“Enter Hunter Biden whose dad, Joe Biden, is the vice president.”

D’Souza referenced the internal emails between the donor and Saudi tycoon, stating Hunter Biden wants a $2 million per year retainer plus success fees or a percentage of the money from the unfrozen Libyan assets. He also wanted to involve his close confidants for confidentiality purposes.

However, the internal emails did not state whether then-Vice President Joe Biden oversaw the operation.

D’Souza read the email further, stating Hunter Biden’s role as Chairman of the UN World Food Programme granted global access to unfreeze money. By being the vice president’s son with access to the Libya file, State Department and Treasury, as well as being the business partner to Jon Kerry’s son, D’Souza said these factored in to Hunter Biden’s “influence-peddling schemes.”

D’Souza then read the vice president’s son’s negatives as outlined in the email.

“He’s an alcoholic, drug addict, kicked out of US army for cocaine, chasing low-class hookers,” laughed D’Souza, “and many more headaches to come.”

“But he may be able to unfreeze the cash,” it reads.

In 2015, two Democratic donors with business ties in the Persian Gulf pitched Hunter Biden to join their cause. But an agreement supposedly did not take flight.

“Since he travels with dad, he is connected everywhere in Europe and Asia where Gaddafi and Libya Investment Authority had money frozen. He said he has access to the highest level in PRC. He can help there,” one donor explained to another.

An attorney to one of the donors said he “has no recollection of seeing those emails contemporaneously” and “knows to a certainty that he never spoke to and had no recollection of talking about Hunter Biden.”

This story follows a Politico publication confirming reports that material obtained by Hunter Biden’s laptop is “genuine.”
