(SNews) – Twitter boss Elon Musk has issued a warning to the American people that fighting for free speech is now a “battle for the future of civilization.”
It was revealed during Monday’s White House press conference that Democrat President Joe Biden and his allies are monitoring Twitter as Musk pushes to rid the platform of censorship.
In response to a question from the media, Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said the Biden administration is “keeping a close eye” on Twitter and Musk.
“There’s a researcher at Stanford who says that this is a critical moment, really, in terms of ensuring that Twitter does not become a vector of misinformation,” Reuters reporter Andrea Shalal said to Jean Pierre.
“Elon Musk says there’s more and more subscribers coming online, are you concerned about that, and what tools do you have – who is it at the White House that is really keeping track of this?”
“This is something that we are certainly keeping a close eye on,” Jean-Pierre asserted in response.

Dave Rubin was stunned and said, “Absolutely insane watching The Machine go after @elonmusk for defending free speech.
“This whole exchange is kabuki theater, from the ridiculous leading question by the ‘journalist’ to KJP’s obviously pre-planned response.”
Musk responded with, “Why are so many in the media against free speech? This is messed up,”

But Musk soon raised the stakes with a dire warning to America.
“This is a battle for the future of civilization,” Musk warned.
“If free speech is lost even in America, tyranny is all that lies ahead.”

Monopolies should be subject to the same limits we placed on our government in the Bill of Rights:
…make no law abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

things that don’t have anything to do with free speech:
– someone blocking your stupid ass on bird app
– someone not giving you the attention you want
– optional paid features of an app
– companies implementing policies you don’t like
– death threats and other criminal acts— Shibetoshi Nakamoto (@BillyM2k) November 28, 2022
