(The Post Millennial) – In the final days of Joe Biden’s first year as President, people are increasingly angry and frustrated at his failure to do anything about two main issues: the pandemic and inflation.

This is in tandem with Biden’s steadily declining approval rating, which has been going down for months and shows no signs of recovering. It has gone from the mid-60s a year ago to the mid-30s as of the time of this writing.

According to CBS News, “…even within his own party, it’s inflation where his fellow Democrats give him their lowest marks, compared to other issues.”

According to a poll performed by CBS News, people were asked how the Biden presidency makes them feel. Fifty percent of people polled responded “frustrated,” 49 percent “disappointed,” 40 percent said “nervous”, and 25 percent each said “calm” and “satisfied.”

The main milestone believed to have negatively affected Biden’s popularity is what has been called “Bidenflation” – in concrete terms, the worst inflation the country has experienced in four decades.

People are also upset en masse about his handling of the COVID pandemic due to the fact that even more people died in 2021 than in 2020, with the Biden administration blaming it on social media.

Another milestone where Biden’s popularity began to tank was what many consider to be the botched withdrawal from Afghanistan in Aug 2021. Biden faced a strong backlash, and was accused of lying as his story did not match with that of many of his generals.
