The Boulder gunman Ahmad Al Aliwi Alissa passed a background check for the AR-15 firearm and purchased it at retail.

He followed the very gun control measures that the left push to assure us will make America safe.

Breitbart News reported that Alissa opened fire in a Boulder grocery store Monday, killing ten people, including police officer Eric Talley.

Democrats’ calls for background check gun control happened quickly, including President Biden’s call for H.R. 8, a universal background check legislation.

However, Colorado already has universal background checks, and has had them since 2013.  Every gun sale in Colorado requires a background check to be performed.

On Friday, Reuters reported that Alissa bought a Ruger AR-15 variant six days before carrying out the attack. “The store where Alissa bought the Ruger said the suspect passed a background check before making the purchase legally.”

It’s clear that lefts gun control antics are not working as they intended.
