Alina Habba, the spokesperson and lawyer for Donald Trump, has expressed her determination to seek legal retribution against New York Attorney General Letitia James. This comes after James successfully obtained a substantial settlement of $344 million from the former president in a civil fraud case. Judge Arthur Engoron granted James almost the entirety of the $370 million she had requested, ruling that Trump and his two sons, Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump, had engaged in fraudulent activities to obtain more favorable loan rates by inflating the value of their assets.

During an interview with Fox News host Sean Hannity on Friday, the same day as Engoron’s ruling, Habba emphasized that “the most important message” she could convey is that Engoron and James will not escape the consequences of their actions. She also hinted at the possibility of James coordinating with the Biden administration.

“There is a point, and I want to say something that I don’t normally do; we have the order now; I’m free to speak. And let me just say […]; they will not get away with it. We will come at them, we will come hard, and we will literally fight until the truth comes out,” she said.

“There was nothing wrong. President Trump has done nothing wrong. All he has done is won a campaign, and that is scaring them. Because they know when he goes back in November 2024, he is going to clean house, and that is truly the problem,” she added.
