(BLP) – After much speculation, it’s official now.
On June 2, 2022, former President Donald Trump endorsed venture capitalist Blake Masters in his race for Arizona’s U.S. Senate seat.
Masters is one of five Republican candidates running in the August 2nd primary in Arizona.
“Blake is Strong on Border Security, in particular, the disastrous Southern Border where people are pouring into the U.S. by the millions, and destroying our Country,” the former president declared in a statement. “Additionally, he will Cut Taxes and Regulations, be Tough on Crime, and Support our Military and our Vets. Blake will fight for our totally under-siege Second Amendment, and WIN!”
“President Trump is a great man and a visionary. He saved this country from a Hillary Clinton regime and forever transformed American politics… and he’s not done yet,” Masters remarked in a statement. “It’s incredible to have his endorsement — I wish everyone could know how this feels”
Masters is a strong proponent of election integrity, something which likely factored into Trump’s endorsement.
“Arizona is a State where the 2020 Election was Rigged and Stolen, and a very thorough audit proved it,” the former president proclaimed. “Blake knows that the “Crime of the Century” took place, he will expose it and also, never let it happen again.”
Blake Masters is also a fervent proponent of immigration patriotism and a restrained foreign policy, which makes him a natural choice for America First patriots. Masters is currently the President of the Thiel Foundation, a private foundation that Paypal co-founder and contrarian investor Peter Thiel founded.
Trump’s endorsement could be what puts Masters over the top. For example, Trump’s endorsement of JD Vance likely contributed to his solid victory margin in the Ohio Republican primary.
Should Masters win his primary, he’ll be facing off against freshman Democratic Senator Mark Kelly.
