(Big LEague Politics) – Former President Trump is set to attend a fundraiser at his Mar-a-Lago resort next week with Arizona GOP Senate candidate Blake Masters, marking his first public involvement in the state’s Senate race.
An invitation to the fundraiser obtained by The Hill reportedly shows the Wednesday event priced at $2,900 per person for attendance. Donors or couples donating $25,000 or more will also be granted a picture with Trump.
The invitation also shows that the host committee for the event includes numerous prominent tech titans and conservative mega-donors, including Peter Thiel, who has already spent $10 million on a super PAC backing Masters, and Rebekah Mercer.
Masters is a long-time Thiel associate, serving as the chief operating officer at Thiel Capital and president of the Thiel Foundation. The Senate candidate has launched a campaign that has helped him stand out against competitors, with goals of promoting family values such as promoting a healthy nuclear family headed middle & working class, securing the border, banning COVID mandates, and ending big tech censorship at the forefront.

Should former President Trump endorse Masters there will likely be shockwaves sent into the race, with many previously speculating that former Arizona Attorney General and current Secretary of State Mark Brnovich would be the definite favorite for the primary.
Some have also reportedly speculated that Arizona Governor Doug Ducey (R) may enter the race, but it appears unlikely after the governor and Trump butted heads following Arizona’s 2020 presidential election.
The Arizona Secretary State may be in hot water with the former President after the 2020 election as well, having previously said that Brnovich “must put himself in gear, or no Arizona Republican will vote for him in the upcoming elections,” Trump said.
Both candidates ultimately hope to face off against Democrat Senator Mark Kelly during the general election in 2022.
