Donald Trump has not yet received official nomination as the Republican Party’s 2024 presidential candidate. However, it appears highly likely considering his effortless elimination of all primary contenders except for Nikki Haley. Consequently, there has been ongoing speculation for several months regarding the former president’s selection for his running mate or vice president. Nevertheless, a new name has emerged in the past few days.

Trump hosted a “mega MAGA” gala at his Mar-a-Lago estate billed as a “Golden Evening for a Golden President” event.

The celebrity-filled occasion showcased actor Robert Davi, who spontaneously performed a rendition of Frank Sinatra’s “My Way” with the lyrics, “Trump did it his way.” In the meantime, Georgia GOP Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene criticized “communist Democrats” for targeting people’s finances.

Vivek Ramaswamy, who withdrew from the presidential race recently and publicly supported Trump, managed to capture everyone’s attention. Speculations are circulating that he might be considered for the position of Vice President, particularly since he appeared alongside Trump and former first lady Melania Trump.

The event triggered a wave of reactions on social media, with numerous opinions and comments indicating that Ramaswamy could indeed excel as a vice president.

“I wonder if Vivek will be vice president? I have never been so impatient in my life to know who the VP pick is. Waiting sucks,” an X user wrote.

“This is what the country needs. President and VP. This needs to happen,” another wrote.

“I think God anointed him to save this country,” event organizer Toni Holt Kramer, president of the support group Trumpettes USA, told the audience that filled Mar-a-Lago’s main ballroom on Feb. 10. “America is the love of his life. He’s got the biggest heart, the smartest mind, and the strongest way. There’s no one else like him.”
