On Sunday evening, a collision occurred between a car and a parked SUV that formed part of President Biden’s motorcade near his campaign headquarters in Wilmington, Delaware.
As the president made his way from the campaign office towards his armored SUV, his sedan collided with a U.S. Secret Service vehicle that was being used to secure intersections.
Subsequently, the sedan attempted to enter a restricted intersection, prompting Secret Service agents to surround it with guns drawn, instructing the driver to raise his hands.
A short distance later, Biden was swiftly transported to his residence in the awaiting vehicle, where his wife was already present. President Obama and First Lady Jill Biden emerged from the incident unharmed.
