(The Post Millennial) – Following Kyle Rittenhouse’s emotional testimony on Wednesday, NBA star LeBron James mocked Kyle Rittenhouse for his emotional outburst, suggesting it was fake.

“What tears????? I didn’t see one,” wrote James.

“Man knock it off! That boy ate some lemon heads before walking into court,” he added, with a slew of cry-laughing emojis.

CNN’s Ana Navarro offered her condolences to the families of Anthony Huber and convicted pedophile Joseph Rosenbaum, also suggesting Rittenhouse’s emotional outburst was fake.

“Kyle Rittenhouse shot and killed Anthony Huber, 26, and Joseph Rosenbaum, 36, and injured Gaige Grosskreutz, now 27,” she wrote. “Think about how much their loved ones have cried, real anguish and grief, not crocodile tears.”

On Wednesday, Kyle Rittenhouse, who is facing murder charges over Huber and Rosenbaum’s deaths, took the stand and delivered an emotional testimony, reiterating his claim that the bullets he shot that killed two and wounded another during a riot last year in Kenosha were fired in self defence.

The account for the Merriam-Webster dictionary tweeted out that “crocodile tears” was their word of the day, a move which many now see as a deliberate reference to the trial.

Navarro paints Rittenhouse’s victims out to be innocent, law abiding people who did nothing wrong, leaving out any mention of the fact that two of them happened to be criminals. Following the shootings, it was revealed that Rosenbaum was a convicted sex offender, and Huber a domestic abuser.
