(The Post Millennial) – On Monday U.S. Senator Josh Hawley called on President Joe Biden to resign after two deadly two explosions occured outside the Kabul airport by ISIS-K suicide bombers.
U.S. officials said that 12 U.S. service members were killed and over 15 were injured, making it the deadliest day for U.S. troops in 10 years. 60 Afghans were killed as well and many other civilians are being treated for injuries.
Hawley released a further statement, detailing why President Biden should resign.
To say that today’s loss of American lives in Kabul is sickening does not begin to do justice to what has happened. It is enraging. And Joe Biden is responsible. It is now clear beyond all doubt that he has neither the capacity nor the will to lead. He must resign

The U.S. State Department issued a bulletin after the explosions on Monday saying, “U.S. citizens should avoid traveling to the airport and avoid airport gates at this time. U.S. citizens who are at the Abbey Gate, East Gate or North Gate now should leave immediately.”
President Biden will be addressing the nation at 5pm ET about the situation in Afghanistan.
Hawley’s remarks were echoed by Sen. Marsha Blackburn, who called for Biden, Kamala Harris, Sec. of State Antony Blinken, Sec. of Defense Lloyd Austin, and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark Milley to all resign or face impeachment and removal from office.
