(The Post Millennial) – Following the naming of Elon Musk as TIME Magazine’s Person of the Year, he and Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) got into a feud on Twitter, with the senator stating that the Tesla CEO should pay “his fair share” in taxes.
“Let’s change the rigged tax code so The Person of the Year will actually pay taxes and stop freeloading off everyone else,” the exchange began on Monday with Warren tweeting a Boston Globe article about Musk’s recent honors.

“Stop projecting!” Musk responded on Tuesday, tweeting an opinion piece from Fox News from 2019 regarding Warren’s previous longstanding claim that she has Native American ancestry.
“You remind me of when I was a kid and my friend’s angry Mom would just randomly yell at everyone for no reason,” Musk continued, adding: “Please don’t call the manager on me, Senator Karen.”

Rep. Pramila Jayapal also called for Musk to “pay his fair share in taxes,” with Warren responding: “I have a plan for that.”

Warren received backlash on Twitter from users, with many pointing out that Musk is a successful entrepreneur, creating cars that will help the environment, like the government and Biden administration are pushing for.
