(TStarnes) – North Carolina State University football radio announcer Gary Hahn has been suspended indefinitely Friday for mentioning “illegal aliens” while calling the Duke’s Mayo Bowl.
During the game Hahn gave a score update on the Sun Bowl in El Paso, when he made the comment.
“One other bowl game involving an ACC team going on, that’s the Sun Bowl, and amongst all the illegal aliens down in El Paso, it’s UCLA 14 and Pittsburgh 6,” Hahn said.
Hahn is an employee of Learfield Communications, a left-leaning broadcaster that controls most college football broadcasts. He’s an award-winning broadcaster who has been the voice of N.C. State football and men’s basketball since 1991.
“LEARFIELD has suspended Wolfpack Sports Network Play-by-Play announcer Gary Hahn from his agreement indefinitely following comments made during today’s Duke’s Mayo Bowl radio broadcast,” Learfield said in a statement.
It’s unclear what triggered the left-leaning Learfield Communications snowflakes because El Paso has been completely overwhelmed by an invasion of illegal aliens.
El Paso officials declared a state of emergency as migrants have continued to cross into the city from Mexico seeking asylum. And the invasion has directly impacted the Sun Bowl.
The Sun Bowl fan fest was canceled last week because El Paso is using its convention center to house around 1,000 immigrants.
Thousands are sleeping on the streets. Hundreds are packed inside churches. Illegals are even sleeping on floors at the airport.
So could someone explain why Hahn was suspended indefinitely for reporting on what we all know to be true? And why are public universities and colleges partnering with a woke, pro-illegal alien company like LEARFIELD?
