Former President Donald Trump generously left a $500 gratuity at a dining establishment in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He inscribed the message “Vote Trump, No Tax on Tip” on the bill.

In a recording posted on X by Margo Martin, Trump’s deputy director of communications, Trump is captured writing on a check at Tony and Nick’s Steaks. He vocalizes, “No tax on tips,” while individuals in the vicinity can be heard expressing their approval.

Martin’s X post features a photograph capturing a collective of employees proudly displaying a check endorsed by Trump. The check bears the empowering message, “Vote Trump. No tax on tips.”

Nicky Lucidonio, the proprietor of Tony and Nick’s Steaks, a cheesesteak restaurant, expressed astonishment at the occurrence. According to Lucidonio, the former president not only responded to inquiries but also autographed various items, including hats.

“It was just unbelievable,” Lucidonio told the outlet. “He was talking to people, you know, they’re asking questions. He’s answering them. He’s signing hats. He signed and everything.”
