(TStarnes) – An eagle-eye listener of the show sent me this clip of an Air Force colonel calling on the military to stop hiring white pilots.
“Stop hiring middle-aged, white people, especially dudes that are pilots. Honestly, we all think alike too much,” the Civil Air Patrol colonel said in a video posted to Instagram. Watch below:
“If we are going to be preaching diversity and being inclusive, then for crying out loud let’s back it up. Let’s make the rhetoric meet the reality,” the colonel said.
The video originally surfaced last year, but it’s important for us to understand what critical race theory looks like in practice. It’s racism.
Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-TX) said the video concerned him about “woke gender and racial ideology being turned into policy by our military leadership.”
“We don’t know everything about this clip, but it seems this Air Force Colonel, in uniform, is basically saying ‘be racist and sexist when recruiting,’” the congressman said.
To date the Air Force has yet to explain the context of the video or whether or not there is a concerted effort to intentionally disqualify white airmen simply because of the color of their skin.
It’s a question that deserves an answer.
