A close call occurred in Michigan on Tuesday when Air Force One nearly missed a mishap. This incident unfolded just moments after President Biden’s arrival at Detroit Metro Airport.
Upon landing, President Biden was received on the runway by several prominent Michigan Democrats, including United Auto Workers President Shawn Fain, Lieutenant Governor Garland Gilchrist, and U.S. Representatives Debbie Dingell, Rashida Tlaib, and Shri Thanedar.
While disembarking from the aircraft, President Biden had a brief slip on the steps, prompting him to grab the handrail to prevent a potential fall. Despite this hair-raising moment, he quickly regained his balance and seemed unaffected by the incident.
Nevertheless, footage of the occurrence quickly circulated on social media.

This video drew additional ridicule as it surfaced in light of earlier reports suggesting that President Biden has been diligently practicing balance exercises to prevent further public mishaps.
Biden and his team have been working to avoid any more literal stumbles, especially as polls indicate that a significant majority of Americans believe he is too old for a second term.
In an effort to maintain his stability, Biden has been consulting with physical therapist Drew Contreras. He has also made adjustments like opting for sneakers instead of slick dress shoes. Additionally, the president now uses a shorter staircase to access Air Force One’s flight deck.
