Independent news anchor Tucker Carlson has raised concerns with the American public, suggesting that the country is headed toward a possible conflict with Iran.

In the latest episode of his popular show on Monday, Carlson posed the question, “Are we prepared for this?”

Iran has been increasingly drawn into the ongoing conflict involving Israel and Hamas.

The Iranian regime has consistently issued threats against the United States following a terrorist attack on Israel launched by its proxy army, Hamas, which has resulted in the deaths of over 1,300 people.

Terrorist groups supported by Iran have escalated their hostilities in the region.

Just last Wednesday night, Islamic extremists targeted a U.S. Navy destroyer off the coast of Yemen in the Red Sea.

Multiple missiles were fired at the USS Carney.

According to a U.S. official, the missiles were launched by Iran-backed Houthi militants in Yemen.

The Pentagon has confirmed that approximately 2-3 missiles were intercepted.

On Saturday, the U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, appointed by Democrat President Joe Biden, released a statement outlining measures to strengthen the U.S. military presence in the Middle East.

Secretary of State Antony Blinken also expressed concerns over the weekend about a potential escalation with Iran within the Biden administration.

“In fact, we expect that there’s a likelihood of escalation by Iranian proxies directed against our forces, directed against our personnel,” Blinken said.

Speaking Monday night, Carlson said it appears war with Iran is now imminent.

“We seem to be heading to war with Iran,” Carlson said during his opening monologue.

“Certainly, the Biden Administration is pushing us in that direction.

“What’s new and interesting and ominous is that very few Republicans – the opposition party, are pushing back.

“Instead, some of the party’s leaders are encouraging it.”

Carlson then played a clip of Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) suggesting the U.S. may bomb Iran’s oil refineries.
