Minnesota Governor Tim Walz experienced a challenging Saturday afternoon.
Initially, the Minnesota football team suffered a defeat against Michigan, with a final score of 27-24 in Ann Arbor, where Walz observed the game from a suite in the company of former U.S. Representative Beto O’Rourke, as reported by Fox News. Subsequently, as Vice President Kamala Harris’ running mate departed from the stadium, he faced a negative reception from the fans.
He was met with boos, and one spectator shouted, “Get out of here.” Additionally, his motorcade was also greeted with jeers upon its arrival.
A little rain can't keep us from the big Michigan-Minnesota game!
And it's not gonna stop these students from making sure that everyone on their campus is registered to vote. https://t.co/uyNRZrYcpq pic.twitter.com/SdFkHcbEL2

A different post on X displayed Walz’s reaction when inquired whether he was “excited for Michigan to defeat Minnesota today.”
Walz laughed and responded, “I’m excited to be at the Big House. I’m excited to watch this incredible game. I’m more excited to see young people being excited about their future.”
@Tim_Walz is excited to see y’all in The Big House tonight, but even more excited to see young people mobilize across Michigan to get Democrats elected UP and DOWN the ballot!
