The scene was reminiscent of biblical times as Iran unleashed approximately 300 drones and missiles from within its borders, while their allies in Yemen, Iraq, and Lebanon launched their own attacks. This modern arsenal of warfare soared through the skies above Jerusalem’s Temple Mount, a sacred location that holds historical significance as the site of previous Jewish temples, including the one that was demolished by the Romans seven decades after the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. The extraordinary event was documented on video, further emphasizing its surreal nature.

The Iron Dome system in Israel intercepted numerous Iranian drones flying over the Temple Mount. Despite successfully neutralizing most of the drones and missiles aimed at Israel, citizens in Tehran rejoiced in the streets over Iran’s first direct assault on Israel.

The Iranian celebration appears to be excessive and premature, giving the impression of being sponsored by the state. However, it is difficult to understand what exactly they are celebrating. According to the Post, the U.S. successfully shot down around 70 drones and three ballistic missiles, indicating that the attack was not particularly effective.

Although an Israeli military base did sustain minor damage and a 7-year-old girl was injured by shrapnel, it is important to note that 31 people were reported injured by Israel’s emergency service agency. Some sought shelter, while others experienced anxiety. This is a clear example of how terrorists aim to terrorize innocent people.

CNN, known for its left-leaning perspective, reported that nothing of significant value was hit in Israel, citing White House sources. However, it is crucial to recognize that the human psyche holds immeasurable value, and the suffering of Israeli innocents directly impacts the people of Israel.

Let us not forget that it was Hamas who initiated the unprovoked Gaza war on October 7th with a surprise attack that resulted in the deaths of over 1,200 Israelis. It is disheartening that sympathizers of Hamas choose to ignore the fact that Israelis were brutally murdered, tortured, and taken hostage. Sadly, some hostages still remain captive. Despite these challenges, Israel remains resilient, and in this particular situation, the Biden administration stands firmly beside them. Israel’s Prime Minister Netanyahu expressed this unity in a post on X Sunday morning, stating, “We intercepted, we repelled, together we shall win.”
