CNN has delivered a significant setback to President Joe Biden by cautioning its liberal audience that the Democrats may face serious challenges in the 2024 election.

As President Biden grapples with the consequences of his economic policies, which have impacted the quality of life for many Americans, he could be at risk of suffering a substantial defeat in the upcoming 2024 election.

The ongoing border crisis and rising crime rates in Democratic-led cities have created additional challenges for Biden’s administration. Even his efforts to enforce strict censorship measures appear unlikely to salvage his popularity.

The concerning news for Biden is that, according to a recent CNN poll, he is trailing behind all but one of the GOP candidates. These poll results indicate a growing desire for change at the highest level of leadership, raising concerns about the possibility of a significant electoral defeat for Biden.

CNN’s report highlights that Biden’s performance in office and the perception of the country’s current situation are registering as highly unfavorable among the American public.

“His job approval rating stands at just 39%, and 58% say that his policies have made economic conditions in the US worse, up 8 points since last fall.

“Seventy percent say things in the country are going badly, a persistent negativity that has held for much of Biden’s time in office, and 51% say the government should be doing more to solve the nation’s problems.

“Perceptions of Biden personally are also broadly negative, with 58% saying they have an unfavorable impression of him.

“Fewer than half of Americans, 45%, say that Biden cares about people like them, with only 33% describing him as someone they’re proud to have as president.

“A smaller share of the public than ever now says that Biden inspires confidence (28%, down 7 percentage points from March) or that he has the stamina and sharpness to serve effectively as president (26%, down 6 points from March), with those declines driven largely by Democrats and independents.”

Approximately 73% of Americans express significant concerns about President Biden’s age potentially impacting his current physical and mental competence, according to the poll results.

When it comes to the possibility of Biden serving another full term if reelected, 76% of respondents believe his age will be a determining factor. A slightly smaller majority, 68%, have serious concerns about his ability to understand and address the concerns of the next generation. It’s worth noting that this concern is higher among those younger than 65, with 72% expressing concern, compared to 57% among those aged 65 or older.

In hypothetical 2024 election matchups, President Biden was trailing behind most of the Republican candidates, as per the poll findings.
