Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), a radical anti-Semitic Democrat, has stated that those who request her to denounce the chants of “death to America” are employing “racist stereotypes.” Tlaib made these remarks on Thursday, choosing not to condemn the recent chants of “death to America” and “death to Israel” by protesters in her district. The protests in Michigan have sparked anger, particularly when one speaker labeled America as one of the “most corrupt countries” globally. Subsequently, the protesters echoed the chant of “death to America” and followed it with “death to Israel.”

During an interview with a Fox News reporter, Tlaib responded by accusing the news outlet of employing “racist tropes” and labeling the question as “Islamophobic,” rather than condemning the anti-America and anti-Israel chants at a recent rally in Dearborn, Michigan.

“I don’t talk to Fox News,” Tlainb responded,

“I don’t talk to people who use racist tropes.”

“Why are you afraid to talk to Fox?” the reporter asked Tlaib.

The congresswoman replied:

“Using racist tropes toward my community is what Fox News is about, and I don’t talk to Fox News.”

“You guys know exactly what you do,” she added.

“I know you are Islamophobic.”
