(TSTarnes) – In Texas students must compete in sports aligned with their biological sex at birth. In other words, Lia Thomas would not be allowed to swim with the ladies in the Lone Star State.
Governor Greg Abbott signed the “Save Women’s Sports Act” into law at a special ceremony at the Texas Women’s Hall of Fame.
NCAA Swimmers Riley Gaines and Paula Scanlan were among the special guests. But they were also targets.
Radical transgender leftists showed up and caused all sorts of mayhem. Protesters threw garbage on the two women – They were also hit by someone’s spit.
“Even in the great state of [Texas], protestors have tried to find a way to smear the celebration of Governor Abbott signing SB 15 which protects female collegiate athletics. But they can’t,” Gaines told Fox News Digital in a statement.
She said that the transgender activists caused all sorts of mayhem.
“Bottles are being thrown, protestors are spitting in people’s faces, profanity is being yelled at children. Law enforcement has stepped in and provided protection,” she told Fox.
A member of the Independent Women’s Network was physically assaulted. Others were told to expect protests at their homes.
“When I turned around to go back inside of the building, that’s when somebody threw water on me,” Michelle Evans told Fox News. “Somebody told me they know where I f—ing live. There was somebody that got in front of me to try to physically block me from going back inside and pushed her body up against mine. Somebody hit my arm, and then someone — a woman in a pink ski mask and sunglasses — spit into my open eye.”
Police said there were no arrests – but it just goes to show you how rabid and evil the sex and gender radicals have become.
