President Joe Biden is being heavily criticized for a gesture he made at a rally supporting abortion rights. At a recent event in Tampa, Florida, Nikki Fried, Chairwoman of the Florida Democratic Party, strongly condemned Governor Ron DeSantis (R) for signing a bill that bans abortions after six weeks.
“We come back here to the state of Florida, where Ron DeSantis felt like he needed to run for president, so 15 weeks wasn’t good enough,” Fried said.
She added, “We had to go to six weeks.”
As she addressed the audience, Biden was observed crossing himself, even though he is Catholic and the church strongly opposes abortion.

Brian Burch, president of CatholicVote told Fox Digital, “Biden’s use of the Sign of the Cross in support of abortion is a disgusting insult towards all Christians, but especially of Catholics whom he claims as his own.”
“The Sign of the Cross is a sacred gesture used by believers to bless themselves, ask forgiveness, or to protect them from temptation. Instead, Biden has turned this ancient Christian practice into an endorsement of abortion extremism,” Burch add.
