Former President Donald Trump has outlined his plans for the 2024 presidential election, and the news isn’t positive for President Joe Biden.

In response to his recent indictment by Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, Trump announced this week that, if elected, he intends to appoint an authentic special counsel to investigate allegations of corruption involving the incumbent president and his family.

These comments from Trump followed U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland’s decision to designate U.S. Attorney David Weiss as a special counsel to probe Hunter Biden, a move criticized on the right as mere political optics. Weiss had been investigating Hunter for years and was instrumental in the collapsed “sweetheart” plea deal in a Delaware federal court last month.

As pointed out by The Western Journal: “Hunter was set to admit guilt to two misdemeanor tax evasion charges and commit to two years of drug-free living in exchange for the dismissal of a gun possession charge. An IRS whistleblower revealed that he avoided paying $1.2 million in taxes in 2017 and 2018. Additionally, Weiss allowed the statute of limitations to expire for tax years 2014 and 2015, which allegedly included felonious offenses that could have been pursued.”

In a campaign video, the former president asserted, “It’s now proven beyond doubt that the Biden family received over $20 million from foreign nations during the time crooked Joe served as vice president, and probably much more. That’s only the amount they’ve uncovered.”

Trump questioned, “Why were they receiving all these funds?”

“I hold the belief that we have a compromised president. He was enticed, and now he’s being coerced. He’s a Manchurian Candidate. This is why Crooked Joe is allowing other nations to exploit the United States. He’s avoiding addressing it. He doesn’t want to discuss it,” stated the Republican.

“He’s terrified of China because they have detailed records of the extensive financial support given to him, and they’re aware of the exact locations. China has provided him with a significant sum,” Trump alleged.

He proceeded to enumerate Biden’s actions that he deemed as empowering and bolstering China to the detriment of the U.S.

Among these actions, Biden dismantled Trump’s initiative to identify Chinese spies operating in the U.S. and neglected to deter Beijing from forging military alliances with Cuba, including the establishment of a base.

Moreover, he tacitly allowed China to gain control over the Panama Canal, a construction that the U.S. undertook in the early 20th century. Recent events also reveal joint naval exercises conducted by China and Russia near Alaska’s Aleutian Islands.

“This would have been inconceivable during my presidency. Had they even considered it, I would have immediately intervened,” Trump remarked.

“Crooked Joe’s corruption poses a glaring national security threat. The millions he’s accepted from China, coupled with the millions from Ukraine, exemplify Joe Biden’s greed and criminality, which could lead us into World War III,” Trump asserted.

Regarding financial transactions involving the Biden family, the House Oversight Committee and Judiciary Committee claim to have found evidence of money traversing multiple bank accounts from various foreign origins, including China, Russia, and Ukraine.

“As soon as I secure re-election,” Trump pledged, “I will appoint a legitimate special counsel, or you might call it a special prosecutor — use whatever term you prefer — to scrutinize these bribes, illicit gains, criminal acts, and the audacious cover-up endeavor. Justice shall prevail.”

“First, we need to get to that point. We must triumph in the election. They’re obstructing me at every turn because the one individual they want to prevent from running is Donald Trump,” he concluded.
